Aurélien Dommergue, Univ. Grenoble-Alpes, France
Aurélien Dommergue is the Director of the Institute of Environmental Geosciences (a joint research unit of CNRS, Univ Grenoble Alpes, IRD and Grenoble INP) and Professor at the University Grenoble Alpes (UGA) in France. For the past 20 years, he has been working on the atmospheric mercury cycle in remote regions, particularly in polar regions and high altitude sites. This work is based on long-term observations in exceptional sites such as Amsterdam Island or Antarctic bases. He has coordinated several national programs and polar campaigns and has participated in numerous international projects including FP7 GMOS, H2020 ERAPLANET, ITN GMOSTrain. He contributed to several UNEP and AMAP reports on mercury.
